Unpublished data
In addition to the general terms, at the Brain Conference there may be communication and presentations of unpublished data. Any information presented at the conference, whether in a formal talk, poster session, or discussion, is a private communication from the individuals making the contribution and is presented with the restriction that such information is not for public use. Prior to quoting or publishing any information presented or discussed at the conference in any publication, written or electronic, the approval of the contributing members must first be obtained. This also applies to social media, websites, or blogs. Audio or video recording of presentations by any means, photography of slides or posters, and printed or electronic quotes from papers, presentations, and discussions at the meeting without consent of the contributors is prohibited.
Please note however that you may be photographed or filmed by FENS during the Brain Conference for promotional purposes. These images may be shared on the FENS or partner websites and social media. Please inform the FENS staff in-person or via email (brain@fens.org) if you do not wish for images of you or your presentation to be used for any promotional purpose.
Harassment
The Brain Conferences are professional scientific meetings that provide a respectful, harassment-free, and inclusive environment for all participants. All delegates, speakers, press, guests, and staff are expected to behave with integrity and respect towards other delegates attending or involved with the Brain Conference. Behaviours such as bullying, stalking, harassment, aggressiveness, discrimination, or sexual misconduct are not acceptable. Should any participant see or experience such behaviour at the Brain Conference, the FENS staff should be immediately notified in-person or via email (brain@fens.org).
