Neuroscience Outreach Awards 2018 announced

Dr. Roland Pochet (Belgium), Dr. Laura López-Mascaraque (Spain), and Université Côte d’Azur (France) have been awarded prestigious prizes for their contribution to advancing public education and awareness about the progress and promise of brain research. The awards are sponsored by the Dana Foundation and the European Dana Alliance for the Brain (EDAB), in partnership with the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS).

The Dana/EDAB Neuroscience Outreach Champion 2018 is Dr. Laura López-Mascaraque, Scientist at the Cajal Institute working on the lineage potential of single-neural cells during brain development and adulthood.

The EDAB-FENS Brain Awareness Week Excellence Award 2018 goes to the University Côte d’Azur.

The Lifetime Achievement Award for Outreach on behalf of Brain Research goes to Dr. Roland Pochet.
