Explore the Frontiers of Theoretical Neuroscience at the Upcoming FENS Conference
Machine learning, AI, connectomics, and large-scale recordings are transforming Theoretical Neuroscience, offering exciting opportunities and posing significant challenges. The FENS conference “Frontiers of Theoretical Neuroscience” will delve into these topics through a series of sessions addressing attractors and computation, circuit models of behaviour, large-scale structure in neural activity across brain areas, plasticity and learning from mechanisms to human behaviour, and cognitive representations across brains and machines.
Confirmed speakers and preliminary programme details are available here. The meeting will take place from 3-6 June in Rungsted Kyst, Denmark.
The call for early registration is now open, with discounted early bird rates available until 2 April.
Organised by FENS in collaboration with the Lundbeck Foundation, awarder of The Brain Prize, these bi-annual conferences unite leading researchers in key areas of contemporary neuroscience to discuss current concepts and define future research challenges.
