The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) is proud to announce its presence at Neuroscience 2023, SfN’s annual meeting, taking place from 11-15 November in Washington, D.C., USA.

ALBA Network

ALBA-IBRO Event at SfN 2023: Deconstructing colonial and historical biases in neuroscience13 November 2023, 18:30-20:00 EDT, Marriott Marquis, Washington, D.C, USA

This event aims to shed light on the enduring impact of colonialism and historical biases on scientific research and discrimination in academia. Speakers will provide unique perspectives on how these biases have influenced the understanding of the brain and continue to feed systemic racism and affect diversity and inclusion in research today.
