For another year, the Physiology Laboratory of the Medical School at the University of Ioannina is excited to host the summer school “The Limbic Structures of the Brain: From Bench to Bedside,” which will take place from September 23 to 27, 2025, in Ioannina, Greece.
This specialized program aims to enhance education and training in neuroscience, featuring lectures from leading neuroscientists, hands-on laboratory sessions (in vivo and in vitro techniques), patient case presentations, and a newly introduced computational workshop on neuronal and circuit modeling.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn from experts, gain hands-on experience, and explore the latest advancements in neuroscience. The program is designed to bridge the gap between fundamental research and clinical applications, offering a deeper understanding of the limbic system’s role in both health and disease.
Beyond the academic experience, the summer school fosters networking and collaboration among researchers, clinicians, and students, encouraging the exchange of ideas and future partnerships.
