Registration fees and stipends

Fees:

• FENS Members: 520 EUR
• FENS Non-members: 640 EUR
• A supplement of 25 EUR is added for payments by bank transfer

The registration fee covers tuition, accommodation and meals.

Cancellation policy:

If the participant cancels their participation, the following refunds apply:

• Cancellations by 31 May 2025: 100% refund
• Cancellations between 1 – 30 June 2025: 80% refund
• Cancellations between 1 July – 16 August 2025: 25% refund
• Cancellations after 17 August 2025: no refund

Please inform schools@fens.org as soon as possible.

Stipends: stipends will be awarded in the form of waived registration fee.

Science writer fellowship: Students who are accepted may also be selected for a Chen Science Writer Award. The selected student(s) will have their registration fee to participate in the Summer School waived and will receive an honorarium of CHF 500 after submitting a summary report after the school.
