The Laboratory of Denis Jabaudon at the University of Geneva, and Thomas Blauwblomme at the Imagine Institute (Necker Hospital) in Paris, is seeking two talented postdoctoral researchers to join a research team studying cellular diversity in the developing human cortex.

Research Focus The project is aimed at understanding the role of developmental timing in circuit assembly in both normal and pathological conditions, with a particular focus on epilepsy. This collaborative project combines cutting-edge approaches in molecular biology and bioinformatics to understand human cortical development and function. See

Position 1: Bioinformatics Postdoctoral Researcher

Lead computational analyses of single-cell genomics data

Develop and implement new analytical pipelines for large-scale genomic datasets

Integrate multiple data modalities to understand cortical cellular diversity

Collaborate with experimental researchers to guide biological validation

Position 2: Molecular Biology Postdoctoral Researcher

Design and execute experiments to study cortical development and circuit assembly

Implement advanced molecular techniques and tissue analysis methods

Work with human tissue samples and disease models

Collaborate with computational scientists to validate findings

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Genetics, Computational Biology, or related fields

Strong publication record

Ability to work independently and as part of an international team; applicants skilled in bioinformatics and interested in performing experimental biology are also welcome to apply.
