Under the supervision of Grega Repovš and Anja Podlesek, the work will focus on the preparation, coordination, implementation, and data analysis of studies in the field of experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience. The work will include the development and implementation of EEG and fMRI signal analysis methods, with a focus on their integration in the study of functional connectivity and functional brain integration, and the design and implementation of eye-tracker studies.
Given the wide range of tasks involved, we are looking for candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experience and, above all, a willingness and desire to pursue further training in these areas of research. We welcome candidates with background and interests in working memory, cognitive control, attention, emotion regulation and related areas of cognition, as well as candidates with methodological and technical skills and experience in statistics, neuro- and bioinformatics, computational modelling, machine learning, programming and signal analysis in Matlab, R, python, bash. For these reasons, the call is open to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, from psychology and cognitive science to computer science and statistics.
A PhD and a corresponding academic title are an added advantage.
