Description:

At the Institute of Biology, Humboldt University, Berlin, we are looking for a post-doctoral researcher in behavioural neurobiology to perform brain imaging using miniature microscopes (1-photon, 2-photon). Research will take place within the DFG-funded SFB 1315 Mechanisms and Disturbances in Memory Consolidation https://www.sfb1315.de. The position is available for two years from March 31, 2025 until March 31, 2027. Payment will be according to E 13 TV-L HU. A subsequent long-term employment with the spin-off PhenoSys GmbH in Berlin is possible.

Field of activity

• scientific research in the field of behavioral neurobiology using 1- or 2-photon brain imaging in freely moving animals in collaboration with members of the research consortium DFG-SFB 1315.

Requirements

• university degree and doctorate in biology or in 1- or 2-photon imaging
• experience in 1P or 2P imaging
• experience in behavioral experiments with mice
