About us:

The Institute of Medical Psychology and Behavioral Neurobiology (chair: Jan Born) conducts cutting-edge research focusing on the role of sleep in memory formation.

We are looking for a lab manager to assist our international team of around 50 researchers. The candidate will have the possibillity to conduct their own research projects and to obtain a PhD degree.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• IT administration and support (on-site and online)
• Technical administration and support for our sleep labs
• Planning and implementantation of internal IT projects
• Installation, maintenance, and administration of Windows clients and their network interactions
• Active contributions to continuous optimization of hardware and software environments
• Website administration

Your skills and knowledge:

• Interest in technical systems used to acquire neuroscientific data
• Background in and/or previous experience with applied computer science
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux administration
• Enthusiasm for novel technologies paired with pragmatic work approach
• Capacity for teamwork and good communication skills
• Good German and English skills
